Since June 1st there are 71 players that qualify as outfielders. Acuna is 5th in fWAR. Markakis is 56th and Riley is 68th. We need a 2nd OF that doesn't suck.

There are ways to mitigate Markakis by simply platooning him.

Even if Ender is back he should still be platooned as well, so the Braves May need to acquire a RHH OFer no matter what.

I’ll believe Snit will platoon Neck when I see it.
Has to much veteran Lairdership we risk losing by not playing him.

I really wish that they would option Riley so he could get some regular ABs in AAA and recall Adam Duvall. I think he could provide a solid platoon bat for Ender plus he actually plays some pretty good defense out there. I think he'd be a substantial upgrade over Riley at this point.

Or hell, even call up Demeritte and give him a shot. I think we have internal solutions to the OF problem and I'm honestly kinda shocked that the FO hasn't called up one of those guys to give them a shot. Worst case scenario, they confirm the need to make a deal for a 4th OFer.
 
This whole idea of letting Riley rot on the bench as a RHH platoon bat or continue being abused by RHP is certainly odd.

It was clear during the middle of his unsustainable streak that there were going to be major issues for Riley, so I’m not sure exactly what the plan is with him.

Someone should have told Snitker not to let Riley rot on the bench.
