The year-round football drumbeat is so annoying. Where I am, the local guys talk college football all freaking year and the national stuff is all NFL, all the time.

I never particularly liked football, but the last few years of this have turned me into a hater.

Around here, if it's not college or NFL they're talking about, it's high school football. Seriously. They treat teenagers and high school teachers like they've signed pro contracts.
