Harang is less about grit than he is gristle.

I think we should trade for a good hitting pitcher and play them in center when they don't pitch. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Bumgarner and Travis Wood would both be massive upgrades over BJ.

I'll bet he went back to the dugout and talked about it for 10 minutes.

All right MLB, it's been two and a half hours. Can we just call this one and give us the win?

Here, I'll fill you in on the details:

Braves win, 5-3. Aaron Harang gives up three runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings. Freeman goes 2-4 with three RBI, including a two-run home run and an RBI groundout in the bottom of the seventh to score the Braves' final run. Tanner Roark surrenders five runs in six innings of work, though one of them is unearned thanks to an Asdrubal Cabrera error. BJ goes 0-3 with a walk and a run scored, Justin 1-4 with a double. Gattis with a sacrifice fly.

Russell throws 2/3 of an inning with a single allowed, Walden a scoreless eighth and Kimbrel a scoreless ninth, though with two walks.

There, I just saved us all a long night.
