If they want Ozuna back next year, they have to trade Murphy this offseason.
I do not know why they'd want Ozuna back knowing that Drake/Ronald/Jurickson need the bulk of the DH at-bats next year if they keep the catching duo.

Really hope Snit uses Hayden Harris is high leverage situations before the end of the year. I can see him being the dinosaur he is using him only in blowouts because he's a rookie. We need to see if he's viable for 2026.

I'd be fine with it if Ozuna was swapped out. And no Snit of course. But I can see him coming back for 1 last time to get to 50 which would be a mistake and waste of another year of Acuna.
And I know I’m in the minority around here, but Ozuna, Drake, and Murphy is fine with me. I love having some HR potential on the bench. And I like the catcher platoon too- Murphy is a better defensive catcher, there’s no guarantee that Drake will not have a sophomore slump- plus injuries to catchers certainly happen- and if they do, we have a black hole in our lineup twice a week. And I think Ozuna has a decent season or two left in him.
We may not keep Ozuna, but I’ll be very surprised if we trade Murphy.
SS looks maybe solved - Go sign a top SP and two or three hard throwing top RPs and let’s get it on.

Ozuna handcuffs us to much. Go get somebody versatile.
I'm not sure why they would spend on a RHH CFer when they've never spent on a RHH OFer and Eli White exists.
Ozuna has a real chance at being back. He is probably something like Plan D.
You do make a good point - I dislike that he can’t play in the field- that’s an issue which becomes a bigger issue if you aren’t hitting 40 tanks…

That's where I think Fraley (or maybe someone else if the price is right) fits better. Rotate guys through the DH and have Fraley in the OF when Acuna is DHing.

I see him as a bench option that hits the field when Acuna is the DH. I don't see Fraley as a regular.
