GDT: 9/24 Marlins @ Braves : Is this game happening at some point?

Very Flirtatious, but Doubts What Love Is.
Someone inform me. Weather nerds: activate.

Also, just because, lineup:

It all depends how patient they are. The rain outs we had earlier this year should have been played. The worst of the rain will be gone within 30 mins. There may be some light showers the rest of the night... maybe some heavier stuff later tonight but they should get it in. But all bets are off when I can't gauge how long they will give it.

If there is any rain left at the stadium, it has to be a sprinkle or two. If the field is in okay condition we should be starting up pretty soon.

Just you watch MLB try to force a make up game next Monday if Miami needs it to make the playoffs.

If that’s the case the Braves should be allowed to forfeit.

Which would be very bizarre considering its not raining at the stadium and hasn't been raining for the past 20 mins or so. Strange to me that a start time hasn't been announced. What exactly are they doing?

They have to delay this game. This game is giving me flashbacks to Chipper hurting himself in Candlestick.

And burn Anderson's start??

And have to play on Monday??

Indeed. Starting then further delaying the game would be an even worse more.

Hopefully that was just a brief subsidiary deluge, and they can get this game official without any weather-related incidents.

If they delay it again they won’t get it in. Because thunderstorms from Bama will be there in about 2 hours

So delaying for a 2 min downpour here and there is dumb. No this is nowhere near the same situation as Chipper and Candlestick
