Seems pretty excessive. We don't want to remove the ability for pitchers to pitch inside. We simply want to promote better command and stop so many pitchers coming up with a spray and pray mentality. But they are basically forcing that mentality on pitchers in order to be successful with every new BS rule change that benefits hitters.
Stop the robot umpires. Who gives a flying **** if balls and strikes aren't right 100% of the time? Unless an ump is missing 20 or more percent of the ball and strike calls, it doesn't really affect the game. If it is that much of a concern, make penalties for umps who have poor performances.
