It literally doesn't matterWay to piss off your best player. Moving a player down doesn't snap them out of a slump or make them start hitting better. Regardless of where you move him he's still the best player on the team but all you're doing is pissing him off. Put him back at leadoff where he's most comfortable and move everybody down a spot.
lineups don't matterThere exists no slump Acuna can be in that justifies him hiting behind Kim unless Kim is batting 1/2.. Where's that logic for Murphy who should be hitting behind the pitcher. And yes I know tge pitcher doesnr hit. Neither does Murphy.
Time is a circle.
In the grand scheme of things for the season at this point no but batting your best hitter 6th yes it does.It literally doesn't matter
but he's not our best hitter right nowIn the grand scheme of things for the season at this point no but batting your best hitter 6th yes it does.
Even in a slump he's still our best hitter. When Allen was on a little run then we should hit him close to the top? Always give your best hitters more AB's slump or not.but he's not our best hitter right now
Haha yup. Acuna bats leadoff if there’s no other batter expected to post a .360+ OBP, and he bats 2nd if the Braves have a leadoff hitter with a .360+ OBP.Who introduced one of Scheffs pet peeves![]()

It’s really that simple.
Resist your irresistible urge to argue for no reason, and read what I actually wrote. But is Acuna expected to do that when he's not 100%?
