GDT: Cubs @ Braves 4/29

I just don't get the point of keeping Tomlin unless it's a leadership deal. He's strictly a garbage man

In today's game, you need a "white flag" guy who can just eat some innings for you. It could be argued that the Braves are redundant in the garbage man department with Tomlin, Dayton, and Biddle all in tow, but there have been some injuries that have contributed to the situation.

Think I read that he does quite a bit of mentoring to Minter and probably others.

Tomlin has been one of our better pitchers so far and he was definitely brought back for leadership. Minter talked about how much Tomlin helped him last year.

On another sad note, a Kelsey sighting was made in a commercial during the game. Don't like Kelly Crull at all, especially against the Cubs. Her heart still lies in Chicago.

She's kind of a generic/spray tan/peroxide chick. And I think we get enough Chicago love listening to Chip slobber on them every time we go there, so we're covered without Kelly.
