Who had us getting anything for MonteroWho had Montero as the first one to go?

You can never have too many SSs that can't hit a lick - AA, probably24 year old in AA with a .600 ops.
That might be worse than nothing. Montero was likely more valuable just to prevent other arms from having to pitch.
I think bats and baseballs would be more valuable than a guy not even good enough to play in AA.I’m not going to complain much. I’m surprised the Braves got more than a few bats and a couple dozen baseballs for Montero
The Tigers are probably saying the same thing about their guy.I’m not going to complain much. I’m surprised the Braves got more than a few bats and a couple dozen baseballs for Montero
I checked his stats and he's played 2B and 3B in addition to SS in Erie (the Tigers' AA team). If his baseball career doesn't turn out for him, at least he got a chance to be a Moon Mammoth. Get his game-used Moon Mammoth jersey here: Jim Jarvis Moon Mammoths JerseyThere is a reason we call these guys lottery tickets.
Likely nothing, but a guy who can play SS is probably athletic enough to take a look at.
I thought of former Brave RHP Pat Jarvis and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman actor Graham Jarvis.Jim Jarvis sounds like the name of someone who was born in the 50’s.
