Southerners are so dumb.

Why didn't they just call them the Gwinnett General Lees? Would have clarified the confusion over having 2 teams named the Braves AND helped the morons "remember their history".

Button Gwinnett signed the Declaration of the Independence. Pretty sure he had achieved room temp before the Civil War. Assuming you weren't born in a test tube, even you have a heritage that has some things to be proud of.

I preferred the Gwinnett Braves, but...

I'll say it again - if you had to change the name because people were getting confused and winding up with tickets for a AAA ballgame when they wanted to go see the big club (the main reason given IIRC), the people buying those tickets are quite stupid and deserve what they get when they arrive at the park and realize their mistake.
