I know what my reasons are, but mine don't matter. Does anyone know of a specific reason given by the Braves that they elected to make Kyle Muller exclusively a pitcher, or a pitcher at all?

His credentials as a hitter were plenty legit for the Braves to consider that route. But it seems he's significantly behind Wentz and Wilson among the high-profile pitchers that year. Knowing that Riley was drafted as a hitter with many considering him a pitcher is even more reason for me to wonder. I can be convinced; I just want to hear the argument.

I imagine it would be his size. He gives the pitcher a helluva strike zone. He wasn’t projected to be a big power guy
