Jacob Lindgren has undergone a second Tommy John surgery.
Lindgren sat out the entire 2017 season and will now miss all of 2018. The 25-year-old left-hander was a second-round pick of the Yankees in 2014, but elbow injuries have completely derailed what might have been a promising career. He's sitting on a 1.83 ERA and 85 strikeouts in 54 career minor league innings.
