He attended Dragoncon in Atlanta at least once when I was there. His debunking of charlatans taking advantage of people was fine but I always felt he was overly hostile and patronizing towards non-skeptics. If someone wants to believe in ghosts or whatever and that makes them happy, let em. Something like that has literally zero impact on your life.

It does effect me when people vote to lock people up for smoking pot because "they need to spend less time smoking doobies and more time reading the bible" and I have news for you if you think they dont exist or dont vote like that. That is violence against me and other people and I wish that same harm back on them. I will always defend a persons basic human right to defend themselves against all who attempt to unjustly take their liberty. No matter if they have a shiny badge or if they get together and vote that I dont have that right. The only "rights" people have any justification to take from others is when it infringes on their basic human rights. Me smoking pot in my home doesnt take anything from anyone. People dont really understand what a right is anymore. You only have the right to not be harmed or your property stolen. Healthcare isnt a right. Internet isnt a right. Even education isnt a right.

There is no amount of belief that makes what you posted a fact. I dont know who this James Randi fella is but his quote is never truer than now. How oblivious does a person have to be to think that the media is engaged in some conspiracy to report fake news about Trump. Were you born yesterday? Is this your first time witnessing politics? Havent smoked in weeks dude. Thats why my tolerance for bull**** has gone down dramatically. I am trying really hard not to be mean to most of you but its really hard when you post outright bull****. I dont care if you vote for Trump but you could atleast be intellectually honest. We arent on cable news. This isnt going to be seen by thousands or millions of people. So why put on this act. I feel like I have been trying to get a horse to drink water for years now, I go get a bat, start beating the horse relentlessly, and it still wont drink. Thats where I am with you people. If he was a bank robber he would be standing outside the bank with a mask on, a gun in one hand, and bunch of the banks money in a sack with a dollar sign on it and you want to argue that he didnt just rob a bank.
