Joe Simpson Catching Flack For Complaining About Organist

The fact that Braves fans have gone from winning 14 straight division titles with legends like Ernie Johnson Sr., Skip Caray, Don Sutton, and Pete Van Wieren announcing to this crap sandwich the last few years with Chip Caray and Joe Simpson announcing in incredibly cruel. I will be so happy when I'm able to watch a Braves game with those two out of the booth.
 
I miss Ernie, Skip, and Pete. We used to have such a wonderful squad. Now I prefer listening to the radio crew over watching the game.
 
While Chip is a horrible announcer, I at least kind of like the guy bc he seems like a good dude.

It's time for Joe to go

Don't really care why they cut him loose as long as they do it. Chip sucks but wouldn't be awful with a solid color commentator.

I really don't care much about the announcers but chip seems just fine if a little dim.

Simpson is just the worst part of the four man crew of the 90s. He's not good but I don't really care. I'm not sure he's worse than most broadcasts.

I've never really seen a nerd fest from the color commentator on a tv broadcast before so don't know exactly what you expect.

It's just some dudes taking every now and then over a three hour broadcast. It's not like a show.
 
No matter the circumstances or rules that M. Kaminski has to work under, Joe did, IMO have a point. The blaring of music at every opportunity does get on nerves.
 
The organist is there to entertain the fans at the game and the Braves organist is the best in the game at that. Joe has been to enough games at this point to realize that and chill.

That being said, I have no problem with Joe. He's no Pete l, Skip, or Don but there are far worse announcers. Anyone who works for ESPN comes to mind. I do wish Don and Jim were on TV though.

No one beats the White Sox though. But at this point they're seemingly proud of Hawk Harrison so nothing will ever change.

I'm stuck listening to the Nats announcers whenever the Braves play them. Lord help me. They are the worst. Though my Dad and I love it when the Nats lose and seeing Ray Knight's smug stupid face in the post-game show dumb-founded at how they could have lost.
 
At least Joe and Chip's voices aren't super annoying, imo. My biggest beef with them is that they pump sunshine incessantly and don't appear to really know wth they are talking about when it comes to interpreting stats and value. Joe "good top hand" Simpson is also a poor analyst when it comes to providing "pro" insight into being a big league hitter.

Ever listen to Mets announcers? They are the gold standard, IMO
