Joey Wentz

In his three pro starts: 9 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 5 BB, 12 K. He also picked off two runners today.

Muller has been pretty good, too: 8.2 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 10 K.

Ian Anderson was added to the active roster before today's game, so I'd imagine his debut is coming soon.

Wentz and Muller could be the Twin Towers coming through the system. Both are off to solid starts. Hope Anderson can keep it rolling.

Throw in Bryse Wilson, who has thrown 2 innings while striking out 2, walking 1, giving up 0 hits and 0 runs.

There is a ton of ace upside with Anderson, Wentz, Muller, and Allard

I still think you have to throw in Newcombe, Fried, and Sorka in that group. Touki has a shot if he keeps on this track...he's just so far away.

But there are guys with TOR stuff.........just most of them are 4-5 years away.

Makes me sad most of these TOR prospects will just be traded right in their primes when they're up with us because of Liberty.

I'm talking about our real young guys all moving up together... I certainly count those other guys.

The Braves run on revenue.

I find that to be a convenient way for the Braves brass to absolve their superiors of any criticism which I totally understand. How do you answer questions from the media about how crappy your boss is without them finding out about it? It's pretty clever spin.

But he wasnt rated a top 5 prospect by MLB.com!

Wentz was rated 20 spots higher than where he was drafted. Don't see the point of massacring that poor dead horse in this instance when literally no person on this board was upset with where we drafted him at.

But based on all the evidence we have, that's exactly the relationship. The Braves run on revenue, and Liberty stays completely out of baseball decisions, including the budget. From everything I've read, Liberty has never told us what we can and cannot spend. The team is run on revenue, so if there is room, there's room.

I would love an owner who just throws out cash with no thought to revenues, but in reality that is incredibly rare. We actually don't have that bad a setup, we've just been hurt by the TV deal. The revenues from the new park should increase the budget by a pretty impactful amount.

Let me tell you about this kid Soroka and draft value......
