Corresponding move to be announced tomorrow
It would make sense for Wood to go down because he probably isn't available for the weekend.
Has to be wood
Someone will have to be sent down anyways once beachy comes back
What could make sense is to option Medlen to the minors since he won't pitch again before the ASG and won't be scheduled to pitch until the 3rd or 4th game after the ASG. He has to stay in the minors for 10 days.

Tuesday - Medlen can come back to start.
He might not like that but it makes sense to get another outfielder up here for these final 2 games.
But it doesn't surprise me that it's Constanza and his sorry .260/.319/.303 (.622) hitting line that's getting called up.
Here's my guess at what tomorrow's lineup would be, assuming none of the big 3 outfielders can play.
Jose Constanza LF
Andrelton Simmons SS
Freddie Freeman 1B
Brian McCann C
Dan Uggla 2B
Chris Johnson 3B
Reed Johnson RF
Joey Terdsolavich LF
Mike Minor P
Day game after a night game so you know it will be Laird catching instead of McCann. Here's what I'm predicting.
1. Jose Constanza - LF
2. Andrelton Simmons - SS
3. Freddie Freeman - 1B
4. Chris Johnson - 3B
5. Dan Uggla - 2B
6. Gerald Laird - C
7. Reed Johnson - CF
8. Joey Terdoslavich - RF
9. Mike Minor - P
I know my Wood just went down.
Couple of things, I'm not sure you want Terdo in RF, he's more comfortable in LF, so I think you'll see Constanza in CF and Reed in RF, and secondly with all the injuries to the outfield and with the All-Star break coming, I don't think you'll see McCann resting tomorrow, I think you'll see him in there.
Jose for BJ doesn't hurt us but losing Justin and Jason is tough.I know my Wood just went down.
I know my Wood just went down.
I dont know why they just didnt pull Gattis back from rehab. He hasnt been out that long. Then too doesnt look like he will get any games in at Durham this weekend.
