I've watched it a couple of times. Not sure if I prefer it over COPS, but it is interesting to hear the officers in the studio provide background commentary.

What do you want to bet none of the police officers from the videos in Cajun's "Bleep the Police" thread make it onto this show?

Many of the officers in my thread have won awards like "officer of the year" and some even for medals for what for them into my thread.

It's also been shown cops react differently when they know they are being filmed. It cuts abuse complaints in half.

Perfect expose right here.

Officer in the drug task force in Cobb county arresting sober driver's for DUI says he is a better drug detector than any drug test. Got a literal medal. So yeah, you might see this guy on that show.

Krg I'm hooked on this show now. Watching it every night on demand.

I don’t know the episode number off hand, it was a later one, but there’s a scene with the Richland county (South Carolina) cops stopping a guy who ran from them. The biggest ‘oh ****’ moment of the series. You’ll know it when you see it.

I’ve seen over 100 episodes and never once has a person been taken to jail over simple possession of weed.

I just watched one where Richland pulled over 2 guys celebrating a birthday while driving around with an open container. One of them tossed the beer out the window while the cop was walking up and nearly hit him with it. The cops called someone to drive them home and let them go after they all had some laughs. This show definitely gives you more personality from the officers than the COPS show.

One act of mercy doesn't wash away the bad. Most criminals don't commit crimes for 99% of their day. Cops also change their behavior when being filmed. Far less likely to brutalized someone as shown by complaints dropping 50% when they have body cameras.

Don't worry thethe, I got some real heinous stories coming. There's a sheriff in Louisiana who literally just advocated against prison reform that would let a few non violent inmates out of prison a few months early because they need the slave labor to wash their cars and cook their meals to save money. I **** you not.

Of course it doesn't and you are right there's a big issue that needs to be fixed immediately.

I socialize with several police officers and they all feel strongly that every officer should wear a body cam at all times, to catch the bad cops and also because people are less distrusting when they know the police interaction is being filmed. Several officers on this show have also mentioned that the cameras make their jobs easier. I find that encouraging.

The show also shows the workd how so many people instantly have attitudes towards the cops without the cops doing anything.

Darn you Krg. I'm watching again tonight. There's about to be a forced entry to serve a warrant in Pasco.
