This thanks to Walk-Off Walk:

Placed on DL: Carlos Castro (#49)...One day, he's hitting three homers in a game. The next, he gets blasted in the face and is headed to the DL. That was Castro's week. The three-homer barrage occurred last Wednesday and was part of a 5-for-5 day. He came out of nowhere to hit 17 homers last year in just 84 games and Wednesday's effort gave him six on the young season. Now, he's out for an undetermined amount of time as he suffered a facial fracture when Lakeland's Endrys Briceno came high-and-tight against him.

this sucks..

Pache is so intriguing to me. You can tell he's still really raw just by watching him swing, but there are so many tools. He doesn't look like a guy that's going to strike out much -- and I say that with a rare two-strikeout day currently happening against Hansen. He seems to really know the strike zone though, and just fought back from down 1-2 to work a walk vs Hansen. We already know the defense is really good, and he runs well. He'll get stronger and add more power, even though his swing doesn't look like it'll produce a ton of it. There are so many good signs from him, especially considering he'll be 18 all season.

Acuna 0-0 with two walks so far. He's also facing Luis Ortiz, the #54 prospect in baseball. Now at 5 BB/4 K since getting called up.

And Acuna just stole his sixth base in eight AA games.

just stole 3rd too.. but he really got picked off 2nd and then just ran to 3rd avoiding the tag by the 3rd baseman. That was a minor league steal if ever there was one. He was dead to rights. But when it is rolling good, you can't do no wrong.

Withrow...

5.0 ip 1 h 1 er 2 bb 4 k

Era = 2.90

Whip (entering game) = 1.08

Avg against (entering game) = .179

40.1 ip 18 bb 37 k

Age = 23

Is he a potential SP for us?

If he keeps this up I can see him being another guy we move for a bat.

Acuna will finish 0-2 with a GIDP, 6-3, two walks and two stolen bases. Hitting .516 right now with 5 BB/4 K.

It's great that Acuna can steal bases, but I would personally prefer him to stop considering the associated injury risks.

yes, the 2nd stolen base where he was picked off.. he lunged around the 3rd baseman and face planted the dirt to get in safe. Groin, busted nose, hand.. many bad things could have happened for such a meaningless play.
