Numbers Explain It All?

We have been playing well. But I would like those 18 or whatever Acuna bombs to be with more me. On base. I guess snit is the greatest manager ever.

You really can't make up this kind of stupid haha

But yes, removing a terrible hitter from the lead off slot and replacing him with a great hitter is going to help the offense. It also helps the offense when that bad hitter is removed from the lineup completely and replaced by a kid on a 1.200+ OPS tear.

You know what would help the offense even more? Putting the guy with a .382 OBP and .162 ISO vs RHP in front of the guys slugging ~.500 when facing a RHP rather than behind them. You know, something old-school like getting guys on base in front of the sluggers...complex stuff for sure.

causality is a deep and frequently misunderstood subject...many great statisticians have spent their careers on the topic...Nobel Prize winner Clive Granger for one...there is a concept called Granger causality named after him...to which I am pleased to add a variation to be henceforth known as clv-Snitker-Acuna causality

A mind like clvderpclv has unraveled this mystery. We are lucky to be able to read his work.
