Early reviews on the retooling of our bullpen are positive. Simmons looks real good, and Jaime and Buchter have done nice work. Walden is back on track. The one guy who continues to struggle is Avilan. I know there was talk of stretching Ian Thomas out to be a starter at Gwinnett, but we need a lefty who can get people out consistently in Atlanta. Would Thomas be a solution to replace Avilan? Luis is just a gasoline fire this season, and the constant arm shaking is worrisome.
