OT: Parking at Truist Park

I'm taking my 86-year-old grandmother to Andruw Jones' jersey number retirement ceremony on Sept. 9 and need some direction on parking. Do you guys have any insights into the best parking situation? She doesn't walk well, so the closest I can get for a reasonable price is ideal.

Thanks!

What about Uber. I haven’t used them there and I hear it can be a wait, but it will get you close.

I have stayed at Omni twice and parked once. I don’t remember what lot. It was some business across the street but it was a pretty easy walk. 10 minutes if I remember.

The Delta lot and the Red lot are 2 of the closest parking lots. Not sure on Delta lot pricing as it usually is included in the Delta Club tickets, I think the Red lot is $50 for the game but it dumps you out right at the RF gates in the Battery.

If you Uber, it dumps you out on the side street outside of the Battery and you have to walk in. Might be tough for your grandmother to walk

My mother is 90 and I've found that it's best to wheelchair her around if she needs me to take her somewhere. She can still walk but she can't go long distances.

yes! I meant to mention I am bringing her wheelchair, but we don’t want to be too far away just in case

Here’s what I did and worked great - just got there early before the traffic started, and dropped my dad off at the stadium box office with instructions to stay right there sitting in the shade, then drove down the street to one of the pay lots off of Cumberland (SC chicken) - only a few minute walk away. But as I said above, getting there early is the key to this.
After the game, that’s not a long wheel push.
Big it’s not the cheapest parking either-

Look on Google satellite maps and you’ll see what I’m talking about - hope this helps !

If she has a handicap tag, bring it with you. They have designated parking that is close to the gate. And some lots have shuttles for those needing them.
