Healed wrist injuries usually take months to then get back to full strength.
Another kick in the nuts for this team.
Goodness…Albies breaks his wrist on a swipe tag. Acuna tears his ACL wandering off 2B. Murphy misses 2 months because he swung too hard. Harris looks like he is all in on the Andruw Jones diet program.
Someone needs to take s good look at these players‘ lifestyle, nutrition and exercise choices. Because it doesn‘t feel like the Braves are top notch in that department.
Are they emphasizing healthy eating? Are the players getting regular bloodwork done, along with personalized supplements? Do they have a joint mobilization and strengthening routine? What are they doing during games to stay warm?
Seems a bit overreactive. We went through basically all of last year without any injuries outside of Fried.
Overreactive? All of that stuff should be standard practice for an MLB team. Who knows? Maybe the Braves are doing all what I described and more, and just have rotten luck this season. I‘s love to learn more about what they are doing in this regard.
But yeah, fair point about last season. Although I have often felt in the past that the Braves players are on the brittle side. Albies in particular has gotten a lot of freak injuries out of basically nothing. But maybe that’s my biased perception.
