Playoffs Eve - NLDS throwback

Fast forward to 2:10 min to see a play that could have been pivotal to our championship run. Chipper's play at third saved that game. Then his huge HR at 2:26 to take the lead.

Wholers of course made it interesting, but Lance Painter was no match for Mark's fastball. It almost looked like he didn't even see it. 2:44 Painter hit because the Rockies pinch run for Vinny Castilla in the 7th innin.

That series could have gone either way, but we got lucky and escaped Coors with 2 wins. The rest wasn't nearly as hard.

Thanks for sharing. I forgot they used to use the stupid format of first two games on the road followed by next 3 at home.
 
Yeah they actually had the same format in 1996 when we swept the Dodgers. I believe they changed it in 1997 if I remember correctly.
