There was no decision to be made. Sale doesn't throw 100 pitches. Ever. Period. It was pure inexcusable stupidity.

AA absolutely must revoke Snit's decision making privileges starting now. Rest schedules prescribed. Pitch counts prescribed. Let him do whatever stupidity he wants with the lineup because it doesn't matter anymore. Just get everyone to the offseason healthy so they can regroup for 2026.

Agreed that 26 should be the focus but I know how they are and they will buy at the deadline more than likely. Get as many pieces back in trades as we can and shed as much money as possible. If there is a multiple year trade out there like Bautista from the Orioles I would do that.
