Schwelly to start throwing soon

Should probably put him making rehab starts in mid-late July.

Waldrep should be due to make his first rehab start within 3-4 weeks if all goes well.

I seriously doubt we see a SP acquired at the deadline and I'm ok with it but another really good BP lefty and a big bat would set us up for the postseason and WS. I know Trout probably won't be moved but if we could trade Murphy and a prospect for Trout and like 40 million dollars to knock him down to around 27 per for the next 4 years we should be all over that. Adding a healthy Trout to this lineup would out perform 23 all day.

Did you say “a healthy Trout”?

Trout healthy ? And we actually need two catchers - having two that can hit is very valuable…. And I know that making fun of Trout being healthy and then talking about Murphy being healthy sounds silly- but IF Murphy is healthy and hitting, having him in the lineup and/ or coming off the bench in the playoffs when we need to PH late in a tight game is a rather tasty idea… main argument though is being able to plug in a big bat if Drake gets hurt is almost - almost - crucial. I’d hate to trade that away.

And there are a lot that wanna resign Acuna long term and he's just as unhealthy lol. The Angels keep trotting him out to CF and he just can't anymore. Playing LF and rotating through the DH is what he should be doing bc like Acuna his bat is to valuable
