Secret Service Coup

Since no one is talking about it, I thought I'd start a thread about the coup by the Secret Service in thwarting a rightfully elected (and re-elected) president's attempt to save the republic.

If a sitting president demands that the Secret Service take him to the Capitol to help prevent a fraudulently elected candidate from being certified as the winner and his order is disobeyed wouldn't that be a coup by the Secret Service.

It seems to me there were two coups on January 6. One by the Secret Service. And one by Mike Pence who bypassed the chain of command to order the National Guard to help restore order in the Capitol so he could certify the victory of a fraudulently elected candidate.

Yes it seems a lot to dumb academics who get everything wrong

Academic votes must be suppressed. They are too stupid

The SS should've let him join his Short Bus Brigade. That's what he wanted to do and would've made for some great photos - the POTUS and the horned man trying to climb in a window at the Capitol.

Would have possibly saved the Republic.

If the president wants to go to the Capitol shouldn't he have the right to do so. Like the other tourists that day. It seems to me the Secret Service performed a disservice to our country by keeping him from doing so.

I admit I don't buy the part about POTUS trying to strangle the limo driver. Those little hands aren't big enough.

If true, this would confirm that the Secret Service did indeed perpetrate a coup by refusing an order from the president to take him to the Capitol to join with his supporters to stop Mike Pence from certifying the victory of a fraudulently elected candidate.

Just like throwing dishes at the wall, any fake lunging in the belly of the beast would've been purely performative.

I’m glad you don’t believe the limo story since they were in a SUV anyway

To be fair a "limo driver" is capable of driving an SUV. Just don't want you taking any cheap shots at my buddy Runnin. And I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that either.

Fox corroborating other reporting on the Secret Service Coup whereby they disobeyed a direct order from the commander in chief to take him to the Capitol so he could join his supporters in their effort to prevent Mike Pence from certifying the electoral votes of a fraudulently elected candidate.

Why are my fellow Americans not taking to the streets to protest this. We have become such sheep.

Sounds like some of the more salacious details about the Secret Service Coup might be true.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/01/politics/secret-service-lunging-incident/index.html

Like Hutchinson, one source, a longtime Secret Service employee, told CNN that the agents relaying the story described Trump as "demanding" and that the former President said something similar to: "I'm the f**king President of the United States, you can't tell me what to do." The source said he originally heard that kind of language was used shortly after the incident.

"He had sort of lunged forward -- it was unclear from the conversations I had that he actually made physical contact, but he might have. I don't know," the source said. "Nobody said Trump assaulted him; they said he tried to lunge over the seat -- for what reason, nobody had any idea."

The employee said he'd heard about the incident multiple times as far back as February 2021 from other agents, including some who were part of the presidential protective detail during that time period but none of whom were involved in the incident.

Anyhow I find it deplorable that the Secret Service obstructed a legitimately elected (and re-elected) president from joining his followers in an attempt to prevent Mike Pence from certifying the electoral votes of a fraudulently elected candidate.

I'm also disappointed in my fellow Americans for accepting this and not taking to the streets. We have become a nation of sheep.
