September call ups

I still wish it was Swanson and he wasn't called up yet and wouldn't get called up full time til the 10 days or whatever you have to wait to not activate service. Seems silly to "reward" players by calling them up and starting their clock when odds are they won't return the favor. Baseball is a business, and the Braves seem to be pretty bad at it.

But to answer your question, if I'm guessing we'll see Blair, Wisler and/or Jenkins up to fill out the rotational depth. I'm a big fan of giving extra days rest when the games don't matter to save up a pitcher's arm.
ALl we have for position players to call up are Castro and Kubitza. Neither of which I really care to see play. What I wouldn't mind seeing is guys like Castro, Pierzinski, etc. cut and guys like Ruiz, Albies or Peterson to get looks. Peterson doesn't make much sense though as our OF is already a bit crowded. While ALbies could get a look at 3B or 2B and Ruiz could work with Garcia at 3B.

Maybe Castro for position guys. d'Arnaud really stepped up and leapfrogged him, so Castro may be superfluous going forward. They may want to get Kubitza some ABs and have a look at him in the OF and 1B trying to get a read on whether or not to keep him on the 40-man.
Lots of pitchers coming off the DL, so no one will get a tired arm in September. If Shae Simmons is ready, my guess is he'll be with the big club as well. We could also see Wilfredo Boscan. Too bad we let long-time farm hand catcher J.C. Boscan go. I would have loved to have seen a Boscan-Boscan battery.

I wouldn't mind seeing Newcomb, Albies, and Ruiz brought up in September to see what they can do. But I think you will see Bonafacio, Castro, Blair, and Wisler brought up

agreed.. no need to add a bunch of guys to the 40 man if they don't need to. if the Braves plan to DFA a few guys (Beckham, EOF, AJP) then I am fine with bringing up some new blood. (ozzie, Newk, Rio, Dpete)
