The rosters for the 2015 Arizona Fall League have been named, and the Peoria Javelinas will have heavy Braves slant to their roster as seven players and a coach are on the roster.
Leading the are former No. 1 pick Lucas Sims (21), who is enjoying a strong finish to his season after missing a month due to the Carolina bus wreck.
Making his Braves debut is Rule V pick Daniel Winkler (25), who has been sidelined all season with TJ surgery. He was acquired from the Rockies.
Other prospects named are RHP Mauricio Cabrera (age 21), right-hander Andrew Thurman (23), who also missed time due to the bus crash; catcher Joseph Odom (23), who was one of the heroes of the bus crash; shortstop Johan Camargo (21); and outfielder Connor Lien (21).
Longtime Braves minor league instructor Gabe Luckert, who was Rome pitching coach in 2015, has also been added to the AFL team's staff.
