Smart TV

Connects to my router but not the internet. I've tried everything I can think of. I even called Samsung, which is pretty pointless. Hope one of you guys have had the same problem and know the secret.

Yes. But I turned them off. Didn't help.

Could have too many devices connected at once. Trying switching off your computer and turn off your wifi on your phone.

Did you reset the connection on the smart TV after turning off the parental controls? Or were they never on?

Are other things connected to your wifi and working? Can you tell what the tvs ip address is ?

They were never on. But I turned them on and off and reset the TV, just to be sure.

Also downloaded updates on a thumb drive and installed them. No help.

I've never had an issue with a computer/similar that I couldn't figure out. This one is just a pain.

Try turning it off (temporarily) and see if the TV connects.

Sounds like it is a problem with the TV then. Have you tried resetting it to factory defaults? Figure that you probably have.
