Exactly.

If he was saying the team has had a streak of bad luck with injuries and everything isn’t a reflection on Snit I’d be worried. But he’s basically saying “he’s gonna be part of the org, but he’s probably not gonna be atop the dugout”.

Time for “Special Assistant to the GM” title aka retired scout/ambassador.
 
If AA ties himself to Snit for next year then both of their asses are on the line and Snit can just ride off into the sunset where AA still wants a career in baseball. AA's best bet is to cut him loose after 162.
 
I just saw a guy who hates his job because he doesn't have control. I am now 100% convinced that real-estate mogul is calling the shots and doing a shitty job.
 
AA said all the right things. I’m pretty sure he has an idea of who he wants to replace snit but he’s not gonna say this openly obviously and publicly.

Man AA has lost a lot of weight. It has Changed the cadence of his voice too. I wonder if it’s from all the stress or the last two years. Lol

Nah.

Considering AA plays things close to the chest on trades and such, he basically was giving every professional compliment to Snit without saying “he’s prob not coming back”.
 
AA looks weird skinny. But yeah he skipped all around those answers. Of course the thoughts crossed his mind lol. The good Ol boy roots run to deep in Atlanta and AA isn't apart of that club. This is all McGuirk.
 
Word salad or not, I’m optimistic for the first time that snit will be gone. Those are not words indicating that he’ll be back as manager.
