so far peripherals look good for Colon and Dickey, not so good for Garcia and Folty
..usual caveat about sample size applies
Last year Faulty had only 2 walks, 16 strikeouts, and 4 home runs through his first three starts.
This season 7 walks, 8 strikeouts, and 1 home run. Although this is two starts and three overall appearances.

I could spin that as either a big positive (finally learning to pitch) or a big negative (losing control under stressful situations) or most likely neutral with a little snow thrown in for good measure.

I think the rotation has performed exactly as projected. Tereran is good, Colon and Dickey are reliably mediocre, Folty is volatile, and Garcia is bleh.
All that matters is Teheran stays healthy, and Folty gains consistency. So far 1 of those 2 has happened. Continuing to give Folty more time is all the Braves can and should do.
I'd like to see Garcia bolster his value and try to move him for longer term assets.
Julio has been excellent! I hope tonight is just as good. Folty hung tight and got squeezed like crazy, so I can't complain. Colon had two great games and one bad one, I'll take that any day. Dickey has been solid and Garcia has been eh.
