Suck it Alaska

I would love to visit a place that cold for like 3 days. If I had to stay a week, I'd probably die

Well, there's no where quite that cold on earth sustained. SO that's good. Like right now it's that cold on Mt. Washington but 2 days ago it was only -30 wind chill.
 
Are you guys closed?

Man I'd wanna go hike that and die. I'm assuming it's so icy that you can't even drive to the top of it where the visitor center is?

Nah, it's only -11 here.

Ski areas in the area are closed though. Most are expecting to open tomorrow as the weather normalizes.

Oh yeah forgot to add, that Autoroad closes in October/November doesn't open up again until May. Cog can get you to the 4000 foot waystation but not to the summit. I forget how they deal with the Summit stuff. I used to know because of touring the place but I've forgotten.
