Removing seats for replacement by tables.

changes that will actually reduce the seating capacity of this still-new and still-compact stadium. But mind you – this isn’t about numbers… okay, that’s not quite true: it’s being done for the money numbers, not the attendance numbers.

In short, six rows of seats have been taken out to make way for extra 4-person tables next to the Inifiniti Club… sections 220-231 that wrap home plate and end roughly where the dugouts begin.

I got to sit in the Budweiser box directly behind home plate at Turner Field a few years back. Budweiser stocked the refrigerator with free beer and had a chef cooking dinner for us. It was pretty cool. They were having some kind of Hank Aaron commemorative event that night in the box next door. Some of my coworkers and I ran into Hank in the hallway outside and he was both friendly and humble, and made a point of introducing us to some of his friends. I can't imagine a better ballpark experience.

There were plenty of tables.
