I’m no Middle Eastern expert, with they’re being so many different groups and factions in the ME, but what group overthrew the Assad government in Syria? Is that group more aligned with Iran, hezbollah side or are they worse and more like taliban? Or did they good guys (so far) actually win this one?

They're backed by Turkiye. I doubt they're good but it seems like the Turkish government wants stability and if they work with UAE and Egypt it would be a net gain for America.

Its very easy to just default and say Biden was worst presidency in over a century but Obama's tenure is right there in the running.

Christians were part of Syrian opposition. The real fear some Christians have is real and should be scrutinized. But acting like Iran and Hezbollah had the interests of Christians at heart is hysterical.
