History is no fairy tale. More often than not we have failed to live up to our ideals. But they are still worth striving for.
 
All men are created equal, but not perfect.

That said, there has to be a internal drive to be better, do better, act better day after day in order to get where we need to go.

I don't think very many throwing stones can stand from positions of judgement but it doesn't stop them from doing so.

it's why i advocate for what i advocate for

i think we should live up to those words

i'm glad that the crazy ass slave owning liberals wrote down the words they did

it's sad they didn't actually believe and implement when they wrote though

but it's also factual that it was really meant for rich white men though at the time.
