The parents association, or whatever they are called, came out and denounced the Miley performance. But imo this performance was a gift to those who are trying to decrease teen sex. I mean there was absolutely nothing sexy about it. If anything it will teach kids to not act like that.
 
Life goes on and another young adult (and I use the term "adult" loosely) celebrity does something incredibly stupid.

I'll give the blue-noses out there half a prop. On the one hand, this stuff has always gone on in society. American history has been largely scrubbed of the sexual and marital practices of the colonial and early republic periods, but it's always been there and has been relatively easy to find if you're in the mood. The difference now is that we are totally inundated with it and it is difficult (perhaps impossible) for those who want to avoid it to do so and I am sympathetic to that.
