The "Untouchable" Julio???

Yeah, I love Inciarte, but if you can get Carlos Martinez, then holy crap, do that yesterday. But I seriously doubt the Cardinals would be open to that.
 
I'd mentioned Ender to the Cards several times - does seem like a perfect fit for them. I'm afraid I don't think he'd net Martinez, but agree that that's probably a "no-brainer" if they'd bite. Given their pen issues, I'd offer them their choice of Johnson or Vizcaino for a prospect to sweeten the pot if that'd push Mozeliak over the top. Would love for that prospect to be Carson Kelly (of course), but would settle for Magneuris Sierra or Bryce Denton.
 
If I trade Tehran I want to be blown away and I want a controllable bat with power and avg defense or better. So that deal from the Astros does not do it for me.

I think to trade Tehran you prob have to do a 3 team deal with a team who will take some of our farther away prospects. B/c I think the get the impact ppl we need for Tehran and maybe even Ender we're doing something like Tehran + one of Allard/Sorka/Miller + lower value arm to get in on a blockbuster. A blockbuster where we are getting some controllable guys that can play next year in MLB. And that is not going to come cheap. And I wouldn't dream of giving up that type of package unless we were really getting two people in the Bregman type area of impact.

Ender I would sell high on. But we'd need to win. Martinez from the Cardinals and Bader is what I'd want. Might settle for Carson Kelly instead of Bader if I really like Mallex. In all honesty a lot of this depends on how much you believe in Mallex.

Probably more realistic than what I wrote....

But maybe Inciarte plus Viz could get my package. Hard to tell on our pen depth with so many talented arms coming off injury.....Simmons, Paco, Winkler, Minter (a year out).
 
No one is untouchable but i dont know if anyone will give up what Coppy wants.

It would cost a boatload.

Not against if its a haul but im not sure anyone offers that to pry him away.
