the woke mob took away my bacon

I am not sure I understand this. Couldnt they just stop shipping bacon to California? If California can pass a law that effects all bacon producers in the US even if they dont ship or make bacon in California then what happens if another state outlaws bacon from pigs that meet Californias law? Bacon just becomes illegal?
 
I believe the pork producers can still operate as usual in other states. There has been a similar case regarding foie gras.
