This is a great video showing the corrupt nature of police these days. This guy is filming an arrest outside a bar after he claims he saw police slams the suspects head into the car. This cop sees him filming and starts trying to block his view. To me that is obstruction of justice. The video could be used as evidence which is important no matter which side it helps. Then after several attempts to block the footage and trying to berate the camera man the cop says he needs the video for evidence and tells the guy to give him his ID in a clear attempt to intimidate him. Funny that he now claims to need the video for evidence immediately after he tried to obstruct it. This is a common tactic. People filming police are always willing to give the footage to the police but no they are not willing to give their whole phone and leave the sole possession of the video to the police for obvious reasons. When the guy refuses the cop starts threatening him with trespassing for being on a public side walk outside the bar. The cop is pulling all of the tricks out of his bag. I am surprised he didnt try disorderly conduct for standing silently and filming.
So I ask. Who is the one protecting and serving? The heroes are the people like this camera man who is risking his life and liberty to protect us from criminals with badges.
