It has become all too apparent that Chop Country is second to none with knowledgeable baseball men hiding under their avatars. As one of the older (not really) old-timers on this Titanic web site, I want to put to rest once and for all who is the smartest of the smart-asses here.

I think we will win 80-85 games and finish second and just miss a playoff spot. Fredi will be extented. Kimbrel, Simba and Gattis will be All Stars. Gattis will hit over 40 home runs and win a Gold Glove and MVP. However, he will suffer a catastrophic injury in the penultimate game of the season, thereby validating the concerns of those wanting him traded before he loses his trade value.

At the trade deadline we will trade Pierzynski for an obscure prospect who will turn into a key player on our world series winning 2017 team. thethe will immediately recognize the importance of the obscure prospect and make extravagant but ultimately accurate predictions about his future greatness. Those are my bold predictions.
