One thing to keep in mind with Acuna is that he's currently sporting an astronomical .500 BABIP in AA. If he continues to K at a 24% rate and his BABIP drops 150+ points, his numbers will deflate to something closer to an .800 OPS.
I imagine both of those things will happen.

He's not playing real baseball now. I think it's why they are pushing him. The best example is on the bases. He's Being way over aggressive and is now getting caught.
I think he will walk more. By all accounts he's patient and does well with the zone. He recognizes pitches. Plenty of video of him mashing breaking stuff.
I don't think anyone really thinks he's Bryce Harper. But he should be really good
His BB rate of 10.3% is actually in range of his career rates. That 24% K rate is high for him, so I have no problem assuming it will come down below 20%.
A few more BBs and less Ks will keep his OPS pretty respectable (~.850) even when his BABIP falls to the .300-.350 range.

I sort of think the exuberance is encouraging. He should make some adjustments when he needs to. I'd leave him down in AA until the stats normalized and until it sets in that he isn't playing a video game.
There is no reason at all to rush him. He doesn't need to start 2018 in Atlanta, because there is no position for him. Call him up if there is an open spot, otherwise leave him in minors till September 2018.
That's sort of optimistic really. A small sample in AA does not a major league starter make.
