Our buddy Dave Stewart has entered the bidding in an investor group that includes former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney's son Tagg, and our own HOF Pitcher Tom Glavine.
 
I do hope Stewart wins the bid though. Then we can count on the Marlins being irrelevant for eternity.

Hmmm. Nothing says "winner" like House Romney. My guess is they'll make two bids but lose to Derek Jeter.

Though if Glavine's involved, they'll probably make their pitch, and it'll be a little outside the target price, but they'll get the call anyway.

The only think that can stop Glavine is Mike Redmond entering the bidding war.
