What Should Obama Do

I am curious what exactly , in detail you think Obama should do to make Black Lives better ?

Certainly he should give a speech, but, what in that speech, unaccompanied with specific proposals, that would accomplish what you seem to think would be accomplished?

Should he give that speech, would he not be slammed by white media for catering to black audiances?

Should he give such a speech in front of both houses of congress ?

National TV ?

Should he invite black leaders -- I know the ones you think charlatons but have never heard of the ones you think effective.

Young black people , old black people.

Inner city or uppity?

Just curious what you think and with the state the congress has been in ( block anything he proposes) how you think he can accomplish what you want accomplished.

I would appreciate you include fats and data so you know

people understand you know what you are talking about

End the war on drugs. Pardon all non violent drug offenders. Take the money we save from jailing drug users and use them for chemical dependance treatment. Do it by executive order to bypass the corruption.

Second, body cameras for cops on duty in public is mandatory. Special prosecuters for cases involving police officers to ensure no conflict of interest. Make a new law that anyone who attempts to frame someone for a crime gets a sentence according to how long the person they tried to frame would have gone to jail for. Lastly, heavily increase funding for public defenders.

i think i agree with everything said here

also, cops can't be in charge or have access to the video from the camera or where it is stored

Can't wait for the general election.
I read Rubio doesn't have the ground game to challenge Cruz and Trump --- well, Trump.
Conventional wisdom is a Cruz candidacy puts not only WH chances in a bad light but will also put the House and Senate in play.

Does anyone dispute Cruz was born in Canada? Is there anyone that disputes Obama's citizenship that believes he was born in Hawaii? Misrepresenting the facts to make it fit the racist narrative you want.

If Obama was a White Republican, Democrats would be calling for his head.

Oh my...

his entire presidency has been aided by the most dovish federal reserve in world history. The economy has gotten trillions of easing and 0% interest rates for nearly a decade... and it's still the weakest economic recovery in US history.

And $2 gas? Tell me 57, what has Obama done to cause this?

Don't post your liberal brainwash here... leave to your idiots on Facebook who actually believes Obama has anything to do with $2 gasoline...

And let us not forget... has added more national debt than all 43 previous presidents combined

These are some great (if, sadly, unrealistic) suggestions. They're also things that folks should be able to get behind regardless of ideology, if they're willing to walk the walk. I've got a lot of friends who are PDs, and believe me, they are doing thankless work with **** resources. I also have friends and family in law enforcement (who are also doing thankless jobs with **** resources), and my opinion is that we—people who believe in the rule of law and the American way—are all on the same side. We shouldn't fear the light, we should welcome it. We shouldn't reflexively support one "side" or the the other, but be on the side of justice.

You left off didn't solve the DH. I mean, it's been 7 years and still one league uses it and the other doesn't

Personally, I'm more pissed about instant replay. It is ruining sport, he has done absolutely nothing nor, has he even said anything - like he is ignoring the whole issue all together

I don't view, not voting, as an option.
Hypothetically ,in my life time would have voted against Obama in 3 or 4 different primaries(1968-72-84 perhaps the Clinton years ) and Kucinich had he been on the ballot

In general elections not one candidate in (R) or (I) where they would deserve the vote. As to 3rd party, I saw what Perot did to Bush 41 and even worse what Nadar did to all of us in 2000.
To my mind in our country, be it right or wrong, a Third Party candidacy seems nothing more than an ego trip
so we have a choice of A or B.

So if you're options are Hilter or Stalin... you're going to vote for one of them bc voting is not an option.

I'm proud to say I did not cast a vote for Obama or Romney in 2012... I can at least say "don't look at me" when he became predictably miserable.

But at least your nonsensical meme was fun
