Now, I have to go back to work on my Super Bowl game plan. I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to my fans and the fans of the New England Patriots. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that football, Miss Wilson. I never told anybody to deflate a ball, not a single ball; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the New England Patriots, Bill and myself. Thank you
 
I'm sure there's some air on a dress somewhere that's going to blow this wide open.

There's starting quite a bit of smoke surrounding the patriots. I'm a realist and I know every team cheats to an extent, but the Patroits take it to a whole new level.
 
This is interesting: Cheating for a long time maybe ......

Brady and Belichik should both be suspended for a year. RR and AP lost a year of income, in what are very short careers, for what they did in their personal lives. What they did was despicable but did not harm the integrity of the game. What the Saints did was not against the rules, did not harm the integrity of the game nor give them a competitive advantage. What Brady and Bel have done is at least as bad as Rose betting on baseball. JMO.

Marshawn Lynch will probably be punished more for not talking to the media or wearing green shoes.

R Goodell should go to if he doesn't hit them hard.

NFL isn't at risk of losing a big sponsorship by letting air out of the balls.

Nike spends over 200M a year to the NFL to be their official sponsor. One of the biggest stars in one of the biggest games not wearing a product from one of if not their biggest sponsors, would be a bigger deal to the "non-profit" NFL.

I don't understand why people get so upset with the NFL with this type of stuff. Of course they aren't going to let Lynch violate their sponsorship. They made a deal with Nike. Would you want them to violate their agreement?

Also, I would bet a lot of money the Pats are going to be punished a lot more than Lynch has ever been punished for anything if the NFL finds strong evidence.
 
If they can prove what exactly happened, yeah the Pats are going to get wacked.
If not, I don't see anything happening.
 
I feel like the NFL is already trying to brush this off. Honestly, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I know people are outraged, but I think that's more because it's the Patriots. I thought I read the balls were properly inflated in the 2nd half after being under-inflated in the first? Is that what happened? If so, how did they prove that after the fact? Thinking about it, I'm more confused.

What about thier recent past history of listening into other teams headsets and video tapping their opponents when they weren't supposed to? Team is acquiring a reputation

When did they listen to other team's headsets? I really don't know.
The video taping was another thing that, to me, was blown out of proportion and likely had a minimal impact. They filmed a walk through?

Well a walk through would include plays or tactics they would practice specifically for the Patriots that the Pats wouldn't have seen on tape from games. Ao a trick play like a wr reverse on short yardage would be known.
 
i honestly can't find myself giving a damn about this at all

but we can all agree that Brady and Bill were just playing a game of "meow" with the media, right?
