Was really interesting for many factors
I would say my experience is different than most since there were only 8 people at the Pyramids
the political stuff going on made it interesting talking to locals. It is the only country that comes close to being like India. I called it India light at times
Was there way shorter than i wanted to but i liked it in the small amount of time i was there
when I started trying to wrap my head around how old some stuff was there in comparisons to our "modern society" and even religions
it blew my mind

Explain "India Lite" comment?

Sick pics man! Wish I could do something like this. Ill just wait till Sav collects all his advertisement revenue and gives it to me so I can fullfil my dreams ;)
SO you haven't taken a bunch of courses somewhere along the way? If not, I guess you didn't need it.
Getting better at photography is one of my goals. I've downloaded many of your pics from both sites for my screensaver programs. They get lots of compliments and I've passed a lot of them on. You've got fans you aren't even aware of. Thanks!
Of course my favorite of all those is Murph throwing out the first pitch to Freddie. Your angle and composition of that one was just perfect.

lite eh?
i actually gave that a thought for a second before clicking post and was like **** it. haha
India is like no place on the planet where the driving is just insane, people always hitting ya up about trying to buy something, everything is jacked up in price for you and you have haggle to get a price that is still more than what a local would pay but still only costs a quarter etc etc
Egypt was the closest to that but it isn't as crazy at times.
Hey gold, was just watching BBC documentary on North Korea from earlier this year, any chance you could re-upload some of your North Korean pictures from a few years ago?

i am just seeing this
didn't know the @ with a name would give you a notification either
i didn't go to North Korea but I could upload my Asia etc pics from a few years ago if you want
i looked into going to North Korea while in China and the price per day was just absurd for a 5 day trip there for the budget i had set
i would still like to go and plan to visit sometime
Hmmm. Who the hell was that on Scout a few years ago that went to North Korea and posted pictures. I for sure thought it was you since you're the big traveler. Hmm.
And yeah if you want to tag someone just put the "at" sign then their entire username (has to be exact) and they'll get a notification.

I wish it was me and i could help ya
hopefully soon
Gold you ever been scared traveling outside the country and if so where? The local police or a group of hoodlums start eyeing you or something and you turn around and quickly leave
Always wondered that too, I've had a few female friends that traveled to Spain and France and they had a few close encounters of being abducted and sold into the sex trade. They would party and go clubbing, have a little bit to drink and these random guys would approach them and try to grab them and tell them to go in the taxi.

Not really
phnom penh is most likely the only place i really thought i could have gotten shot or some **** go down. some crazy africans on some drugs and the locals late after leaving the lake district area was dodgy as ****
A few places in India gave me the thought of "i could be killed here and no one would ever know or find out", Egypt i was more worried leading up to it but that went away pretty quickly once I was on the ground there. I was approached by one man while there saying it was no good that i was there but i talked to him and showed i meant no ill will and i joked around with a guy about what he could get if he kidnapped me and held me for ransom. Saying that to most Americans sounds crazy but it was never in danger and was a way to make light of everything going on there.
Got into it with a tea seller in India and thought it could escalate into something cause he was trying to rip me off from what i knew the price was and i decided to just leave the area at that time instead of seeing where it could escalate to
Also got into a big argument with some Peru guys about the Iraq war when leaving a club at sunrise. Europeans I was with tried to get me to leave but i stayed and talked with them and by the end, we were friends and met up with them the next night to have drinks
been in country during the start of 2 revolutions (Egypt and Thailand) and Lebanon had a lot of **** going on with Syria (they still are) but overall, never really felt in danger. i feel way more in danger in my own country than i do outside the country and i have been in some rough areas in 3rd world countries and they are some of the most caring and giving people i have had the pleasure of meeting
Amazing pix Goldie! Nice to know at least one of my friends has been to a few of those locations.
Love the pix of Hobbiton, and that desert temple from the Indiana Jones flick.
Are you on instagram or twitter? Do you post your pix there?
I'm @m0sssy on twitter, deejaymossy on instagram.
For that matter I'd love to follow any of you on either of those, as it's much easier to make it there than here these days.
