Ricky Williams: Worse to trade for than an injury-prone, not-that-good QB.

Why does it matter when the first rounders were received? This isn't finance. We aren't depreciating intangibles assets like a first round pick, unless you have a valid reason as to why first round draft picks were less valuable in 2004 than they were in 2000.

And besides, the Falcons have been a helluva lot more relevant in the past 20 years than the Washington Snyders.

The way teams view trades is that a pick in 2016 draft is worth less than a pick in the 2015 draft. It why you see a trade of a 3rd in 2016 being equal to a 2nd in 2015.

At least I've seen 3 super bowls :) Would you trade that for 20 years of mediocrity?

He is, he is Jon's brother and the last name carries weight, not saying it should but you think if his last name was Smith that he would've gotten the Washington job? I don't.

That's relevant when talking about general managers valuing the present year over a future year where they may not be employed by that same team. On a franchise level that argument is tainted.

In my lifetime I haven't seen the Redskins appear in a Super Bowl. I have seen the Falcons appear in one and even win a few playoff games along the line, in addition to having generally pretty competitive teams the past 20 years.

The 80's were a long time ago. Definitely long enough where posting a picture of rings to distract from the present discussion of the **** storm of the RG3 era.

Raiders have cut Trent Richardson. I just cannot believe how much of a bust he has been. Watching his days at Alabama, I never saw this coming.

Pedigree does carry in sports. Eli Manning was pretty good coming out of college, but not great. Rivers was vastly his superior on production, completing more passes, more Y/A more TDs less INTs, Giants traded a haul to move up to 1 and get Eli (obviously I know the trade happened after the picks) but they did that on name.

Pretty crazy that he's busted so hard. What shocks me honestly is that he seems to have lost his vision, maybe it's a speed thing where the game moves faster in the bigs.
