Acuna is horrible right now, if you need him to make contact right now he is going to k most of the time.

Who was it that used to mock me for comparing Soto and Acuna?

    Acuna 4.8 fWAR
    Soto 4.6 fWAR

Offensively, Soto is clearly superior, so far

Acuna is being fed hard stuff away and he's trying to go out around it and pull it. That's making him late. He needs to keep his hands inside the ball and drive it to the opposite field when he's being pitched like that.

Shane Greene has been a machine since that rough start. So good to see.

They're compareable, Soto is probably the better offensive player but overall baserunning, defense, and throwing guys out, etc, Acuna gets the edge.

IIRC Enscheff called his slump then dominant turnaround way back when he was acquired.

Acuna is a great young star but he is really pressing right now, ive not seen him slump this badly in a good while.

I’m pretty sure it was no one.

No ever argued that they weren’t comparable offensively. It’s the rest of the game that puts Acuna over the top.
