I just remembered the Dodgers were going to try playing d'Arnaud at 3B on occasion but then they flipped him in a trade to the Rays after he was a member of the team for only five days. Something to keep an eye on.
Paving the way for Freddie at C? I like it.

That feel when the Braves exhibition opener against the Orioles is only just over a month away.

For one, that isn't true. Vodnik has clear potential as a starter. As for the other guys, it's way too soon to label them likely bench options. All have a good bit of potential but are a good ways away from the majors at this time.
Also, our system isn't really shallow. We have 40 grade prospects as far down as number 17, which is pretty dang good. We still have a top 5 farm system when after graduating Riley, Soroka, and Fried and away 4-5 good depth prospects at the deadline. Just because some of these guys aren't big time prospects yet doesn't mean they aren't talented. Let's remember that Riley and Wilson were 40 grade prospects in 2017.

Watching Acuña and Ozuna both Euro-Step around third base against Jack Flaherty in the same game is going to be Epic!

man i really really don't understand why Holt isn't a Brave. would 1/$5M get it done right now? he seems like a perfect guy to match with Camargo. 40 man crunch maybe?

I seriously doubt the cubs want to take on our salary for marginal players. A Bryant trade needs to clear them of all his salary and to get an impact player in return. Not some poo poo platter of marginal players.
I think figuring out how to make the 40 man work for holt is a much more reasonable explanation.
Coppy
Putting aside the prospect cost and the likelihood of such a deal, I'd be happy to trade Inciarte's production for Bryant's production.
Another way of saying, we already have a shaky OF platoon. We also have a far below average 3B situation.
Bryant upgrades 3B to at least well above average. The platoon probably doesn't suffer all that much without Inciarte.
In that situation, I'd probably go sign Billy Hamilton to be a defensive sub while I waited for Pache.
