Out of everyone, why Lee?
My guess is they wanted a lefty to pitch until Tucker's spot in the lineup (or perhaps just to Alvarez's spot). And wanted to save our other lefty relievers (Minter, Matzek, Smith) for high leverage situations.
They could have gone to Smyly but probably want him in there for a situation where he might pitch to more than 6 hitters. With the opener, it is at most until Tucker (who normally hits sixth). After that we will turn it over to a RHP (likely Chavez). Then pinch hit for the pitcher's spot. At that point maybe we bring in Smyly. Depends upon the game situation obviously.
The plan going in might be roughly this: Lee and Chavez for the first time through the Astros' lineup, Smyly and Martin for the second time. Then the high leverage guys if it is a close game.

"I am a victim, I will tell you. I am a victim."
"I am your retribution."
I don’t like no Soler. If we want Peterson put him in for Duvall. Soler at bats have been consistently really good
I imagine it means Kyle Wright follows him, though the Astros don’t do much in terms of platoons.
All things considered, I would rather a LH face 2-3-4 even with Altuve leading off who hits LH well. I would go:
Lee - 1 inning (maybe let him go through Kyle Tucker)
Chavez - 1+ inning (pull with the PH)
Wright - 3 innings (he may have to hit depending on the situation)
The score should then decide whether the Night Shift goes or Chris Martin / Davidson close the game out. If the game gets out of hand, we may see a position player pitch.
The worst outcome is if the Braves are down 1-2 runs. I wouldn’t pitch any of our better bullpen arms multiple innings, so we may need to rely on Martin to cover an inning (preferably against the bottom of the order).
Alex Rodriguez!! 🤡
Another note on Braves bullpen situation. Atlanta relievers have thrown 903 pitches so far this postseason over 56 innings.
Compare that to Houston, which has thrown 1,125 over 65 innings.
The Braves were in position to exercise their bullpen & without overworking it.
My prediction for the night. Dansby busts out. 2+ hits one for extra bases. At least one run knocked in
Let's goooooo
Jason Castro out with covid!
At the game. A win is imminent.
