Hope the cramp/hand really are precautionary with Albies.

Also glad Freeman isn't here to insist he plays.

I hope Gaudin can reel in dino-Smoltz and his insistence on talking about baseball's "glory days" of 1982.

The ump did Max a few favors that inning. I’ll take it. One run is fine

Well the ump has missed four B/S calls in the top of the first. Max hasn’t had pinpoint control, but not as bad as it seems.

Folks complaining about the ump obviously missed the strikes he gave Max.

As long as he' healthy there is no reason to worry about what Fried does this month.

Y'all wanna see the most unorthodox **** in the world? Go to Truist when the Yanks are in town...Literally sitting next to a fckn obese hillbilly with a Winder Ford hat on...wearing a fckn Yankees jersey.

Haha. Not at all. Ump was inconsistent. Missed a few both ways. That is hard on pitchers.

I still marvel at Max’s ability to change velocity at will

Fried gave up hits on a couple grounders the other way. Now another grounder for a hit.

Nothing about what has happened so far is "hard on pitchers" like Fried.

Poor Max has been dinked to death the last two games. Thats another run-scoring hit.

You want to argue about whether inconsistent umpiring is hard on pitchers…. Okay, 😀
